Law enforcement and reporting guidance

  1. Introduction

    Teliqon is committed to safeguarding trust, security, and privacy of its Customers and Authorized User(s). Teliqon adheres to strict internal procedures and approaches regarding the disclosure of information of its Customers and/or Authorized User(s) to third parties.

    When applicable laws and regulations oblige Teliqon to do so, we may disclose information of Customers and/or Authorized User(s) to Law Enforcement Authorities or Governmental Agencies (“Authority”) upon receipt of a respective official request.

    By this guidance Teliqon strives to provide Law Enforcement Authorities or Governmental Agencies with the most easy and straightforward way to reach Teliqon with their requests. 

  2. Request submission

    Submitting requests that are incapable of being submitted via email, please use the following office address for in-person or mail service:

  3. Request requirements

    Teliqon verifies the validity of every request received from an Authority.

    We accept only requests which are specifically issued in the name of Teliqon by the Authority duly authorized to do so and that do not have validity issues.

    Teliqon expects the valid request to include at least the following information (Validity Identifiers):

    • - Name and postal address (no P.O. boxes) of the Authority;

    • - Full name and contact details such as phone number (including extension) and government-issued email address of the Authority’s representative;

    • - Badge or identification number of the Authority’s representative;

    • - Reference or case number, if applicable;

    • - Categories of records or information sought;

    • - The period for which information is sought;

    • - Email or phone number associated with the Teliqon Account that is subject to the request;

    • - Legal grounds for submitting the request;

    • - Date and signature of the Authority’s representative; and

    • - Date by which the response is requested.

    Teliqon reviews all the requests on a case-by-case basis to ensure they are valid from the perspective of applicable laws.

    Teliqon reserves the right to require additional information for verification or handling of the request.

    The specific information to be provided to the Authority depends on the reasonable interpretation of the request by the Teliqon team. Therefore, it is important for the Authority to be accurate and specific when formulating its demand. 

  4. Notification of Customers

    Teliqon reserves the right to notify the Customer and/or Authorized User(s) of any valid request received to enable them to respond to the request directly unless applicable law, regulations, court order, or another legal instrument prohibits Teliqon from doing so.

  5. General

    This Law enforcement and reporting guidance does not represent a commitment by Teliqon to provide information about Customers and/or Authorized User(s) and only serves for information purposes. Teliqon reserves the right to respond to or object to any requests in any manner compliant with applicable law.

    Teliqon may periodically review and update these guidelines.
